Dear Parishioners,
This weekend we welcome all the parish families who have come to make their commitment to the preparation for the Sacrament of First Communion. As a parish community, we too will be asked to pledge our commitment to supporting the children and their families in this important task. How do we do this well? By praying for the families and by being faithful witnesses to the Good News of Christ, in our words, our warm hospitality and our joyful and prayerful reception of the Blessed Eucharist at communion time. A very good adage for us to remember, as mature role models for the children of our community is “Our children are not listening to what we say – they are watching what we do.” Read more
