Dear brothers and sisters,

The Third Sunday of Advent is traditionally known as Gaudete Sunday (Latin: Rejoice!). The name comes from the Entrance Antiphon, which is: Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I say, Rejoice! The Lord is near. So today, in the spirit of joyful hope on our journey to meet the Lord, we light the rose-coloured candle and wear rose vestments. Read more…
