DESCRIPTION:Join us for Parish Week 2026 as we celebrate the anniversary of the dedication of our church and give thanks for the vibrant faith community of Infant Jesus Parish. \nParish Week is a special opportunity to come together in prayer\, fellowship and celebration\, with a particular focus on the rich multicultural nature of our parish community. Throughout the week\, we will also explore Carmelite Spirituality through a series of evening sessions. \nThe week will culminate in our Parish Celebration on Saturday\, 29 August. \nEvent Details:\nWednesday\, 26 August 2026\nSpiritual Encounter with Fr John\nBeginning with the 6:30pm Perpetual Novena in the church\, followed by a Spiritual Encounter with Fr John and a light supper in the Parish Centre. \nThursday\, 27 August 2026 – 7:00pm\nCarmelite Q&A with Fr Ad\nJoin Fr Ad for an evening exploring Carmelite spirituality\, with an opportunity to ask questions. The session will be held in the Parish Centre and will conclude with a light supper. \nFriday\, 28 August 2026 – 10:00am\nCarmelite Q&A with Fr Ad\nA repeat of Thursday evening’s session for those unable to attend at night. Held in the Parish Centre. \nSaturday\, 29 August 2026\nCommemoration Mass and Parish Dinner\nCelebrate the Dedication of our Church with the Commemoration Mass at 6:00pm\, followed by a Parish Dinner from 7:00pm to 10:30pm. This is a free ticketed event\, and bookings are essential. Tickets can be booked online or by contacting the Parish Office. IMPORTANT: This is a shared meal. All guests are asked to bring a savoury plate of food to share (preferably a dish from your culture) and bring their own drinks. \nWe look forward to welcoming all parishioners and visitors as we celebrate Parish Week together.
