Adults
Adults and older children who have not been Baptised celebrate all three sacraments of initiation; Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion at the same time.
Preparation is undertaken over an extended period. Please contact the Parish Office to find out more.
Children
Infants are Baptised at a young age and celebrate the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist when they are older. In the eastern Rites of the Catholic Church; Ukrainian, Melkites, Maronite and the Syro-Malabar Churches, these two sacraments are celebrated together.
In order to help your child understand the significance of this sacrament it is necessary for them to complete a period of preparation and formation.
If your child does not attend a Catholic school, parents or guardians should enrol the child in the Parish Religious Education Programme (PREP).
