Holy Communion

Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) contains major and minor rites which are directly associated with the periods of growth for unbaptised adults and older children.

The culmination of the process is the celebration of the sacraments of initiation; Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The usual time for this is at the Easter Vigil, although other times may be chosen if there is a pastoral need.

Please contact Parish Office to find out more.

Children

In order to help your child understand the significance of this sacrament it is necessary for them to complete a period of preparation and formation.

If your child does not attend a Catholic school, parents or guardians should enrol the child in the Parish Religious Education Programme (PREP).

Please contact the Parish Sacramental Coordinator for more information sacramental@infantjesusparish.org.au
