Bulletin

1 February 2026 – 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A – Sunday of the Word of God

February 7, 2026

Dear Parishioners,

Earlier this year, Pope Leo XIV announced a Jubilee Year – “The Year of St. Francis” – from 10th January, 2026 to 10th January, 2027. Especially addressed to members of the Franciscan Order and those particularly inspired by Franciscan Spirituality the year marks 800 years since the transit of St Francis of Assisi. Christmas Blessings

When the Infant Jesus was born in Bethlehem the Angels sang God praises: ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favours!’ (Luke 2: 13-14) No one is excluded from God’s love and peace. May God abundantly bless you all. May your families know his peace, joy and love at this time and always. May our world find peace through the Prince of Peace, Jesus himself.

Almighty and merciful God,

may no earthly undertaking hinder those

who set out in haste to meet your Son,

but may our learning of heavenly wisdom

gain us admittance to his company.
