12 July 2026 – 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A

July 13, 2026

Dear Parishioners,

We all love a good story; it’s written in our DNA. Interestingly, according to historians, all ancient civilisations and societies began as oral cultures, began by telling stories. Dear Parishioners,

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus reveals something rather significant. Indeed, in the entirety of St Matthew’s Gospel, only three times does Jesus directly address His Father – in the Garden of Gethsemane (cf. 26:39, 42), during His self-offering on the Cross (cf. 27:46), and, before these central events, in Chapter 11 amid His preaching ministry (cf. 11:25-27). Dear Parishioners,

10th May 2026 – Sixth Sunday of Easter, Year A

May 7, 2026

Dear Parishioners,

On this Sixth Sunday of Easter, we also celebrate Mother’s Day. I have been told that to forget to honour one’s mother on this day amounts to a mortal sin that needs to be confessed ASAP; an appropriate recompense such as a double share of chocolates, flowers, or even an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii is also highly warranted.
